Job SummarySan Jose Water Company is seeking a highly skilled HR Talent Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service by effectively sourcing, selecting, and onboarding candidates for a wide range of requisitions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain all aspects of the recruiting process, including managing the authorization, posting, candidate selection process for assigned positions, and managing the applicant tracking system.
- Perform required pre-employment skills assessments and evaluations, and assist with candidate selection, tracking, and maintaining results in the appropriate manner.
- Train and develop managers on the recruiting process, including diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices, job description edits, structured interviewing techniques, and selection/assessment.
- Ensure successful onboarding of all new hires, including providing training on HR-related systems, determining the source for all other required training, and following up on a set schedule to ensure the system is complete.
- Manage Learning Management System Onboarding Process, including workflows, training materials, and eLearning platform.
- Lead efforts in the Company's internship programs, developing job descriptions, interview processes, and managing stakeholder responsibilities.
- Assist in analyzing training needs to design employee development programs, creating training content, and delivering training sessions on various topics.
- Develop and maintain HR analytics to track progress of talent management statistics.
- Regularly create or coordinate Human Resources communications for Company newsletters and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- At least one year of experience in a related position.
- Knowledge of Human Resource laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- High proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems and Learning Management Systems.
