Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Computer Technology courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer technology and the ability to create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Technology courses at a variety of times and locations, creating course syllabi, and evaluating student progress. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position, and the successful candidate will be required to teach a maximum of five classes per academic year.
Responsibilities- Teach Computer Technology courses at a variety of times and locations
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner
- Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Evaluate student progress and inform students in a timely manner
- At least 3 years of documented experience working or teaching in a related field
- License or appropriate teaching certifications required when teaching courses regulated by a licensing body or certifying authority
