Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at UPS Industrial Services in Texas City, TX area. This is a long-term opportunity that could last for over a year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage work plans for maintenance projects, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Analyze P&ID, Isometric, General Arrangement, Plot Drawings, Equipment & Piping Specifications to identify scope and develop repair requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track scope development electronically and ensure accuracy.
  • Develop Bills of Material (BOM) using drawings and specifications, and provide redlined drawings with identified scope.
  • Maintain expertise in field estimating activities and planning software to support project development.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management, stakeholders, and team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial construction, preferably with supervision or quality control roles.
  • Prior planning experience is necessary, along with the ability to lead by example and demonstrate leadership skills.
Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
