Job Summary

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing the nutritional status of the inpatient/outpatient population, developing a nutritional plan of care, and implementing Medical Nutrition Therapy alongside an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the nutritional status of patients and develop a plan of care
  • Implement Medical Nutrition Therapy in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Provide education to patients and their families on nutrition and health
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • BS degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics
  • One-year experience as a dietitian in a healthcare setting
  • Registered Dietician/Licensed Dietician registered in state of Texas; or RD eligible
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines
