Job Summary:

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing the nutritional status of the inpatient population and developing a nutritional plan of care. This will involve working alongside an interdisciplinary team to implement Medical Nutrition Therapy and provide education to the community as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the nutritional status of inpatients and develop a plan of care
  • Implement Medical Nutrition Therapy alongside an interdisciplinary team
  • Provide education to the community periodically
  • Assist with training and performance improvement as needed

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics
  • One-year experience as a dietitian in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Registered Dietician/Licensed Dietician registered in state of Texas; or RD eligible
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines
