Physician Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Consultant to join our team at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Medicare Advantage and Medicare prescription drug benefit initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and recommend changes to strengthen Medicare Advantage and Medicare prescription drug benefit initiatives.
- Review and critique manuscripts, presentations, and other written materials relating to the clinical, scientific, and medical implications of Medicare Advantage and Medicare prescription drug policy and operations.
- Represent and speak on behalf of the Center for Medicare at national conferences, forums, panels, and other professional settings and organizations.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Must possess and maintain a current medical license throughout the duration of their appointment with CMS.
- Must have a Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or equivalent.
- Must be Board Certified in a recognized medical specialty.
- Must demonstrate in your resume five (5) years of graduate training in the specialty of the position to be filled or equivalent experience and training.
- Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
