  • Treatment and Medication Administration: Assist with the administration of treatment and medication to patients, ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Admissions and Intake: Assist with the admissions process, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information is complete and accurate.
  • Meetings and Communication: Attend and participate in weekly meetings with the healthcare team to discuss patient care and progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct daily audits of new admission charts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaison and Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, families, doctors, and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Incident Reporting: Investigate and follow up on all incident reports, ensuring that necessary actions are taken to prevent future incidents.
  • Staff Management: Participate in the management of staff, including assignments and evaluations to ensure quality of care.
  • Patient Care: Participate in weekly risk meetings to discuss patient conditions and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Staff Evaluations: Participate in annual evaluations of staff to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations.
  • On-Call Hours: Take on-call hours on weekends and holidays as assigned, ensuring that patient care needs are met at all times.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
