Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional programs, collaborating with teams across Product & Engineering, Finance, GCO, and B2B Excellence.
- Identify key stakeholders for each initiative and manage their expectations effectively.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to outline project scope, break down tasks, sequence activities, and develop a comprehensive delivery plan.
- Manage inter-team dependencies, assess risks, address issues, and validate planning assumptions as they arise.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, both written and verbal, on project status.
- Establish and implement governance routines to ensure the program remains on track.
- Organize the program structure and clarify roles and responsibilities to enhance communication and prevent redundancy.
- Create and maintain project documentation and archives.
- Act as a planning leader for teams under your supervision, focusing on 90 and 180-day planning cycles when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Program or Product Management within a technology-driven organization, such as e-commerce.
- Travel industry knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, utilizing data to support decision-making.
- Effective communication skills tailored to various organizational levels.
- Adept at providing clarity in situations with ambiguous project scopes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Collaborative approach to driving organizational decision-making.
Work Arrangement:
This is a hybrid position requiring residency in Illinois.
Compensation:
The national annual base salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $170,000, reflecting the expected compensation for the position. Actual salary will be determined based on the role's complexity and the candidate's relevant experience, skills, and location.
