About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at First Children Services. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing ABA therapeutic support to children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with clients in independent and group classroom settings to support healthy communication, social, and behavioral skills.
  • Provide ABA therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive treatment outcomes.
  • Read and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • BA degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Education required.
  • 1 year minimum of working with children preferred.
  • 1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred.
  • Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to accept and implement practical feedback.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and run during shift.
