Position Overview:
A skilled Industrial Equipment Assembler is responsible for the assembly of significant components and their respective sub-assemblies related to blow molding, sheet line, and extrusion machinery, as well as auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble and/or install major components along with their sub-assemblies with minimal supervision.
2. Execute assembly tasks that involve layouts, positioning of components, maintaining specified tolerances, and aligning drive couplings and pinion gears.
3. Conduct roller chain and belt installations, and bore-sighting as per job assignments.
4. Assist in the start-up, processing, repairs, and re-builds of machinery.
5. Identify equipment needs or safety concerns related to the operation and condition of machinery.
6. Operate various tools including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, and surface grinders to perform repairs or custom installations.
7. Safely operate a forklift as required, ensuring good housekeeping and adherence to safety protocols.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine or industrial assembly.
- Proficient in reading blueprints.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Basic understanding of electronics.
- Availability for overtime as necessary.
- Must meet physical and medical standards, passing a physical examination by a company-approved physician.
