Job Overview

At Meade Engineering, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for driving the physical design of electrical substations throughout the design and construction phases.

Responsibilities
  • Design high and medium voltage electrical distribution for large scale data center campuses.
  • Oversee the production of one-line diagrams, conceptual designs, plan-section drawings, foundation, grounding, specifications, and any additional drawings needed to complete a comprehensive set of construction documents.
  • Work amongst a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams and manufacturers.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Professional Substation Engineering design experience designing high/medium voltage power distribution, physical design, transmission line design, etc.
  • Valid P.E. license and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience working independently, managing priorities and providing mentorship to junior staff.
