Carter Lumber is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and services, including building materials, tools, and equipment.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, upselling and cross-selling products, and providing excellent customer service.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other sales team members, outside sales representatives, and support staff to achieve sales goals and provide a seamless customer experience.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including conducting cycle counts and resolving overages or shortages.
- Experience: 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a retail or building materials industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
