Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency medical situations and provide appropriate care and treatment to patients.
- Coordinate response activities with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
- Lead a team of responders in conducting triage, developing treatment plans, and administering medical care.
- Ensure the proper functioning of emergency medical equipment and vehicles through regular checks and maintenance.
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of station locations and emergency vehicles.
- Interact with firefighters, law enforcement, and other non-medical personnel at emergency scenes.
- Perform administrative tasks, including completing necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Handle hazardous materials and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Respond to multiple casualty incidents and disasters, providing medical oversight, triage, care, and transport as needed.
- Participate in in-service training and updates to maintain certification and stay current with industry requirements.
