Certified Arborist

Paxon Energy & Infrastructure Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Certified Arborist to join our team as a Seasonal Arborist Specialist. As a key member of our vegetation management team, you will be responsible for inspecting trees, flagging hazardous trees, and providing expert recommendations on tree management.

• Tree Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of trees to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for management.
• Hazard Tree Flagging: Flag and communicate hazardous trees to ensure public safety.
• Tree Management Recommendations: Provide expert advice on tree management to ensure the health and safety of trees.
• Vegetation Operations Management: Manage and coordinate daily vegetation operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Reporting and Communication: Submit detailed reports and information to vegetation management leaders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

• Certification: Must be certified as an Arborist through a recognized organization such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) or the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA).
• Experience: Must have experience in tree inspection, hazard tree flagging, and tree management.
• Education: A degree in forestry or a related field is preferred.
• Skills: Must have strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• TRAQ Certification: TRAQ certification is preferred.
• ISA Utility Specialist Certification: ISA Utility Specialist certification is preferred.
• Forestry Degree: A degree in forestry is preferred.
