Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a role model for staff and community members, promoting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
  • Provide coaching services to families involved in the Early Intervention program to achieve Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals.
  • Review each child's background information, including evaluations and Child Outcome Summaries, prior to sessions to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
  • Conduct in-person speech services with caregivers and children in community settings.
  • Share effective strategies to enhance language and communication during daily activities, adhering to established program procedures.
  • Deliver detailed session notes to families within 24 hours, outlining coaching techniques for daily integration.
  • Complete Child Outcome Summaries for participating children.
  • Maintain professionalism in all written and verbal communications, ensuring timely delivery to families and staff.

Note: Applicants must be prepared to work as 1099 contractors, managing their own taxes and equipped with the necessary tools and resources to fulfill the responsibilities of a Speech Development Coach on a freelance basis.
