Medical Planner Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Planner Architect to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our facilities design team, you will play a critical role in developing planning documents, directing design for construction projects, and creating conceptual budgets.

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and design for capital projects, including hospitals, clinics, and administrative spaces.
  • Collaborate with internal department leaders to identify objectives and formulate options.
  • Effectively run and participate in Clinical User Group meetings and leadership presentations.
  • Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, Project Managers, and Contractors from Concept Design through Construction.
  • Advise the CA team to answer clinically significant questions.
  • Produce planning documents reflective of the department goals and consistent with UCHealth standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience. Preferred: Experience in hospital setting.
