Job Summary:

The Senior Security Professional will assist the Director and Deputy Directors of Security in planning and executing program protection. This includes providing guidance on security and classification policy, planning and executing program security, and assisting with data sharing and technology sharing requests from mission partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Director and Deputy Directors of Security in planning and executing program protection
  • Provide guidance on security and classification policy
  • Plan and execute program security
  • Assist with data sharing and technology sharing requests from mission partners
  • Work with senior level mission partners across the DoD, IC, and foreign entities
  • Provide SCI and SAP assistance to defense contractors in all industrial security disciplines
  • Have extensive IC security experience across multiple security disciplines
  • Ability to work high-level, complex or sensitive security issues thoroughly and with discretion
  • Substantive experience providing risk-managed security recommendations to program managers
  • Ability to handle complex security classification issues
  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with senior government personnel
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements and tasks and managing long-term tasks as well as short-term obligations
  • Demonstrated experience working with industrial security staffs
  • Have a working knowledge and be able to implement Intelligence Community Directives as well as NRO Directives and Instructions
  • Ability to effectively provide PSO guidance to junior PSOs
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma and 12 or more years relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree and 8 or more years relevant experience, or Master's Degree and 6 or more years, or Associates and 12 or more years experience
  • Extensive IC security experience across multiple security disciplines
  • Ability to work high-level, complex or sensitive security issues thoroughly and with discretion
  • Substantive experience providing risk-managed security recommendations to program managers
  • Ability to handle complex security classification issues
  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with senior government personnel
