Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Facilities Technician Level 2 to join our team at Overwatch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deploying the people needed to get our data center projects off the ground.

Key Responsibilities
  • Alarm and Monitoring: High Temperature, UPS, UPS Battery, Health Report Error, Fluid Cooler, Pump Skid, Generator, Switchgear, Leak Detection, Cooling Systems, and related components
  • Work Order Completion: Accurate and timely completion of work orders and participation in policy and procedure development
  • Tool and Equipment Handling: Handling different tools and equipment with precision
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train Level 1 technicians
  • Collateral Duties: Perform assigned collateral duties and tasks assigned by management staff
  • Maintenance and Inspection: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on critical equipment
  • Heat Containment: Inspect and install heat containment measures to ensure proper floor temperatures
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems that may be employed in a data center environment, including electrical feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS Systems, DC power Systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units, breakers, batteries, load bank connections, CRACs, air handling units, fluid coolers, pumps, chillers, cages, and fire suppression systems
  • Safety Practices: Must follow established safety practices and procedures in applicable situations
  • Shift Work: Ability to work an established shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd), including weekends and holidays
