Job Description

At BrightStar Care N. Houston/The Woodlands, we're seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their full potential and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' conditions and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
  • Help clients enhance strength, range of motion, flexibility, and minimize pain or discomfort.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians to develop care and treatment plans that meet clients' home environment needs.
  • Assess muscle strength, mobility, gait, range of motion, and pain, and select appropriate treatment and assistive devices.
  • Report clients' responses to treatment or changes in condition to the Director of Nursing and physician.

Requirements:

  • Master's or higher degree in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Passed a National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) and/or state examination required by the state.
  • State licensure in the state where care is being provided.
  • Two (2) years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist, with community/home health experience preferred.
