This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effective management and operation of Command and Control (C2) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation and configuration of system updates and critical objectives, ensuring timely execution.
  • Maintain and manage the operational baseline of the Air Operations Center (AOC) systems.
  • Provide expert guidance during transitions between system baselines, addressing potential risks.
  • Assist in the configuration, troubleshooting, and migration of AOC infrastructure components.
  • Support data migration efforts and application optimization as necessary.
  • Implement security measures, including patch management and compliance with domain policies.
  • Facilitate the resolution of technical issues by managing trouble tickets effectively.
  • Participate in technical meetings and provide insights on performance and security enhancements.
  • Document lessons learned and share metrics with team members to foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 5 years of experience in Systems Administration.
  • Possession of a current DoD Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Familiarity with LAN, WAN, and SAN technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with various software technologies, including Microsoft Exchange and VMware.
  • Knowledge of CISCO networking technologies.
