Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing first assist support in surgical procedures.
  • Scrubbing in for surgeries as required.
  • Floating between operating rooms as necessary.
Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room.
  • Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures.
  • Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting techniques using Hemapro 2 and/or Vasoview 6 systems.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Certification as a Surgical Tech First Assist (NBSTA).

All travelers are required to have completed the COVID vaccine series or possess a valid exemption by the start date. This position involves working with a diverse patient population, including cases related to open heart surgery, trauma, and various surgical specialties.
