We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Aquatic Program Manager to lead our aquatic programs and facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our aquatic facilities, sports programs, and community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Develop, implement, and evaluate aquatics and sports programs that meet community needs and promote participation.
  • Facility Management: Manage the daily operations of aquatic and gymnasium facilities, including staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and maintenance.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise aquatic and sports staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and organizational policies.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with community partners to promote programs and increase participation.
  • Safety Protocols: Monitor and maintain safety protocols in compliance with local and national regulations.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage budgets for aquatics and sports programs, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop marketing strategies to promote programs and increase community engagement.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in aquatics and sports management, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Certifications: Current certifications in lifeguarding, WSI, CPR, and First Aid; additional certification in Pool Operations is a plus.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of NYC DOH regulations, aquatic safety regulations, and risk management practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to develop and manage budgets effectively, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
