Job Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems at Renown Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and repair, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with power, lighting, and other electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and meter controls.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with electrical systems, using knowledge of electrical diagrams and codes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of electrical systems.
  • Develop and implement procedures for electrical system maintenance and repair.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience as a journeyman electrician, with a strong background in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid City of Reno Journeyman Electrician license, with ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical diagrams, with knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, with the ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed.
