Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at White Plains Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate diagnoses and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and positioning them correctly for optimal image quality.
  • Operate CT equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance to produce high-quality images.
  • Assist radiologists during procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Process and analyze images, identifying any abnormalities or issues that require further attention.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to maintain high standards of imaging quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, attending training and education sessions as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program or equivalent experience.
  • NY State DOH licensure or limited permit required.
  • ARRT registered (RT) and radiograph (R) and/or (CT) certified, and/or NMTCB registered (CNMT).
  • Passing advanced CT examination/certification within 1 year from date of hire.
  • Continuing education requirements need to be upheld to meet the standards set forth by governing bodies.
