- Provide daily support to pharmacists, ensuring timely and accurate medication dispensing
- Resolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is provided and customer satisfaction is maintained
- Process refill and new prescriptions in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory requirements
- Manage inbound and outbound faxes to physicians, ensuring seamless communication
- Focus on quality assurance, ensuring accurate input of physician orders and preventing medication errors
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers over the phone, addressing their concerns and needs
- Utilize sound judgment to make informed decisions, prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction
- Restock and maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards
- Assist with inventory management functions, including cycle counts, inventory, receiving, and put-away
- Package and ship orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Count and fill medication orders with 100% accuracy, adhering to regulatory requirements
- Compound medications that are not commercially available, adhering to company protocols
- Prepare medications with special packaging requirements, such as bubble packing and pre-filled syringes
- Complete other duties as assigned, supporting the team and contributing to the company's success
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Current State Board of Pharmacy Technician license
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician training course or a minimum of one year of on-the-job training preferred
- Technician certification preferred (PTCB or ExCPT accepted)
