Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled iOS Software Engineer with a strong theoretical foundation and practical experience in the field. The ideal candidate will independently manage a comprehensive range of responsibilities, demonstrating extensive knowledge and problem-solving abilities across various challenges. This position requires adaptability and innovation in enhancing existing methodologies and technologies.

Work Environment:
This position is fully onsite in the South Metro Denver area. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role. A complete relocation package is offered for qualified individuals.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Objective-C and Swift.
  • Proficient in developing frameworks and static libraries.
  • Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
  • Familiarity with SQLite.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with RESTful APIs in Swift/Objective-C.
  • Knowledge of SPM and POD.
  • Experience with XCTest for automated testing.
  • Understanding of GCD (Grand Central Dispatch).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the development of all components and new features as an iOS developer.
  • Utilize multithreading techniques and work with GCD effectively.
  • Employ CoreData and SQLite for data management.
  • Collaborate with fellow iOS developers, product owners, designers, and QA engineers.
  • Understand REST API architecture and create client-side requests accordingly.
  • Implement Scrum methodology for efficient work planning.
  • Encourage innovation by allowing developers to propose their own ideas and solutions.
  • A passion for aviation and software development is highly valued.

Key Duties:

  • Enhance existing code when modifying current modules.
  • Conduct pre-testing and installation of programs prior to QA handoff, ensuring test coverage as needed.
  • Adapt programs to meet new requirements when necessary.
  • Document code development thoroughly, including method and class comments, UML diagrams, and sequence diagrams when applicable.
  • Provide detailed comments with each code commit in the version control system.
  • Collaborate and consult with team members across all departments, assisting testers and support staff to resolve system issues.
  • Research and recommend software tools to management for ongoing development.
  • Create application builds for review and release purposes.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000
- 4% 401K matching
- 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) to start
- 12 paid holidays and 4 floating holidays
