Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bell Attendant to join our team at The Westin Seattle. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate the hotel's telephone switchboard, process guest requests for wake-up calls, and connect calls to the appropriate extension.
  • Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, ensuring that guests receive timely and relevant information.
  • Log all guest requests or issues into the computer system, contact the relevant department, and follow up with guests to ensure their request has been resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local areas of interest.
  • Process room service orders, answer questions on menu selection, and record transactions in the point-of-sale system.
  • Assist guests with accessing the internet and guestroom entertainment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
