Job Summary

The Oak View Group is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately, handling customer payments and making change as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our beverage menu, including beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Upsell and suggestively promote our beverage offerings to guests, increasing sales and revenue.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, ensuring seamless service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to responsible serving practices and guest safety.
Requirements
  • 6 months or more experience in bartending or a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accurate cash handling skills and ability to manage cash and credit transactions.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, with the ability to learn and develop a thorough understanding of our beverage menu.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
