Assembler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Generac Power Systems. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in manufacturing high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble products in a cost-effective and timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
  • Validate materials prior to assembly, review work instructions, and build products according to specifications.
  • Complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, comply with quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
  • Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor as needed.
  • Follow defined procedures and practices.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and interpret basic visual diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic PC knowledge.
  • Knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic assembly equipment.
Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to manipulate objects, and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

The employee must comply with assigned location PPE requirements, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, clothing, and shields for required tasks.
