Banquet Server Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at Horseshoe Bay Resort. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during banquets and events. Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and break down banquet functions, including room setup, linens, tableware, and glassware.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings with the Banquet Captain and Banquet Servers to review the day's events and assignments.
  • Execute steps of service and company standards to ensure a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Serve food and beverages in the order and to the expectation of the Supervisor.
  • Replenish beverages as needed and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
  • Reset the banquet room according to the Captain's specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol.
  • TABC certified and Tips Trained required; Food Handlers required.
  • Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous banquet serving experience, preferably in a resort setting.
  • Requires a working knowledge of ala carte, fine dining, and white glove practices.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comprehend reading materials, speak, read, and write English.
  • Neat in appearance and well-groomed.
