About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Precision Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team at Micro Tech Staffing Group in Marietta.

As a CNC Machinist, you will play a pivotal role in our stainless steel production process by operating and programming CNC machines to create precision components that meet our high-quality standards.

Your expertise will ensure that we produce parts accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

You will work closely with engineers and other machinists to interpret technical drawings and specifications, setting up machines accordingly to achieve the desired outcomes.

This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process.

Additionally, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
  • Interpret technical blueprints and diagrams to determine machining requirements
  • Monitor the machining process and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure they remain in good working order
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Troubleshoot machining problems and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes
  • Maintain accurate records of production outputs and machine maintenance logs

The ideal candidate should possess 5-axis horizontal milling experience and proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications with metal material.

Strong understanding of machining processes, including milling, turning, and grinding, is also essential. Additionally, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
