Erickson Living is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee the delivery of resident care in our Continuing Care community. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of resident care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular rounds to ensure nursing staff are providing excellent resident care.
- Review and adjust nursing staffing to meet established productivity standards.
- Assist in resolving resident and family concerns and grievances.
- Review resident medical records to ensure compliance with regulations and standards of practice.
- Consult with on-call providers as needed.
- Supervise and orient new nursing staff.
- Lead investigations into injuries, medication errors, and abuse allegations.
- Complete supervisory reports as required.
- Provide coaching and counseling to nursing staff.
- May be required to fill in as a licensed nurse on the floor or participate in the clinical on-call.
- Registered Nurse graduate from an accredited school, BSN preferred.
- Licensed in the state as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years' floor nurse experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, or hospital.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, internet, and web applications.
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Ability to oversee staff, residents, and resident families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Computer skills.
- Exceptional customer service and leadership skills.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language.
