Job Summary

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Stanford University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator Associate to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate research studies from start-up to close-out, ensuring compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage patient and laboratory data, develop flow sheets, and complete study documents/case report forms.
  • Interact with principal investigators, research participants, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth study execution.
  • Monitor expenditures and adhere to study budgets, resolving billing issues as needed.
  • Participate in monitor visits and regulatory audits, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Two-year college degree and two years of related work experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of medical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working toward certification(s) to perform basic patient measurements and tests, such as phlebotomy and EKG.
Working Conditions
  • Position may require working with hazardous materials and/or exposure to chemicals, blood, body fluid, or tissues, and risk of exposure to contagious diseases and infections.
  • May require extended or unusual work hours based on research requirements and business needs.
