We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory testing and analysis to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing, including analyzing proficiency testing samples and completing records/documentation.
- Assume responsibility of the department as needed, demonstrating good judgment and independent thinking in the correlation and interpretation of patient results.
- Review pending logs and result logs, resolving any outstanding workload and performing quality control procedures per protocol.
- Take corrective action when patient, control, standard, calibration, and/or proficiency results are not within appropriate guidelines.
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- A State of Florida Technologist License is required or the ability to obtain a license during the interview process.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is beneficial.
