Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team at Penske Transportation Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance services on our commercial refrigeration equipment, including Carrier and Thermo King units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts and components
  • Test and diagnose issues with refrigeration units, using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment
  • Read and interpret complex schematics and diagrams associated with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
  • Identify and document warrantable repairs, and maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Provide support for preventative maintenance and tractor trailer maintenance, as required by location management
  • Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
