Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Communication Disorders Specialist to join our team as a Virtual Therapist. In this remote position, you will work with clients to improve their communication skills while enjoying the comfort of working from home.

About the Role

This is a full-time or part-time opportunity with a caseload that includes K-12 students. You will be responsible for conducting virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations, developing personalized therapy plans, collaborating with parents and caregivers, and providing guidance and support to families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address specific communication needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers on effective communication strategies.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • A current Massachusetts SLP license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders.
  • Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A fast and reliable computer and internet connection (no Chromebooks or tablets permitted).
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive hourly rate consistent across direct and indirect hours, as well as guaranteed weekly hours.
