About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Tyson & Mendes. As a key member of our litigation team, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in preparing legal documents, managing trial preparation, and reviewing and analyzing document production.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with preparing legal documents and pleadings, including discovery and motions
  • Manage trial preparation, including coordination of witnesses and travel, trial exhibits, charts, and trial notebooks
  • Review, analyze, and organize document production by opposing parties
  • Organize and manage electronic files for large, document-intensive cases
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys and other team members to achieve case goals

Requirements:

  • Paralegal certification
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Experience in California state and federal courts
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation, including deadlines and rules
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
