We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Department Charge Nurse to join our team at Dignity Health. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise, support, and oversight to ensure our patients receive exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift, including serving as a resource to staff, directing patient flow, and assuring appropriate utilization of resources.
- Ensure the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to regulatory requirements.
- Support the organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the hospital-wide performance improvement plan.
- Advocate for patients, nursing staff, and the unit, while promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Two years recent ED experience.
- Charge Nurse experience and BSN degree are preferred.
