Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Qs Nurses. As an ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to residents/patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing medical procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring that they are providing high-quality care and adhering to facility policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate daily administrative and nursing duties, including medication administration, medical treatments, and patient documentation.
  • Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Mentor and train new staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Monitor medical charts and provide compassionate care and assistance to patients and families.
  • Take physician orders, transcribing them accurately and communicating with doctors and administrators as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Record and maintain accurate reports and records, including patient charts and facility documentation.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current License in the State in which you are working
  • Current CPR certification
  • Prior experience required, unless in our accepted Preceptor Program
  • Excellent leadership, documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate with sound judgment, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and reasoning
  • Proficient in technology and medical software systems
  • Ability to handle stress and work confirmed shifts
  • Ability to follow the nurse practice act, specific to the State in which you are working
