Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work in our 16-bed Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of Pulmonary and Critical Care Providers. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement a plan of care for acute and chronic health conditions.
Responsibilities- Diagnose patients and implement a plan of care for acute and chronic health conditions in the intensive care unit.
- Work collaboratively with a team of Pulmonary and Critical Care Providers to provide high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- ACLS Certification
- Registered with MDHMH and holds a Federal DEA number
- State Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License
- State Registered Nurse License (for Nurse Practitioners)
- Critical Care experience is highly preferred
