Key Responsibilities
  • Develop precise structural drawings and models utilizing CAD software, including AutoCAD and Microstation.
  • Work alongside engineers and designers to formulate plans and specifications for various projects.

  • Modify and update drawings based on input from engineers and clients.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all CAD files and project records.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree or certification in Civil Technology, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Drafting, or a related discipline.
  • 0-5 years of experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within the structural engineering sector; internship experience is acceptable.
  • Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation.
  • Strong grasp of structural engineering principles and construction methodologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision in technical drawing creation.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and DOT drafting guidelines.
