We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our psychiatric department at Altheda Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Emotional Support and Care Coordination: Provide emotional support and care coordination services to patients and their families, connecting them with essential resources and assisting in navigating medical, behavioral health, and education systems.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with medical and other support teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Protocol Development: Collaborate with the clinical committee to develop office screening and treatment protocols for children with mental health conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, autism, and learning disabilities.
  • Metrics and Outcomes: Track metrics and outcomes associated with social services functions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Patient Education: Provide patient education through internal classes, external classes, or individual training sessions.
Qualifications
  • Licensure and Credentials: Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience and Skills: Previous experience counseling individuals, couples, and/or families, with a strong understanding of mental health conditions and treatment protocols.
  • Availability and Commitment: Ability to commit to a flexible hybrid schedule and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
