Position Overview: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Maintenance Manager
  • Diagnose and rectify issues in electrical circuits
  • Assist in daily production operations by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and parts specifications
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving basic electrical component problems
  • Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems
  • Experience in installing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance
  • Must provide personal tools
  • Adhere to established programs and policies
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments

Preferred Background:

  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance
  • Proof of electrical training or a technical degree

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and squatting
  • Ability to lift and carry objects of varying weights
  • Work effectively in a high-pressure environment and respond promptly to challenges
