Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a skilled medical oncologist to lead our Gastrointestinal Malignancy program.

Position Overview:
  • This role presents an exceptional leadership opportunity within a rapidly evolving program that is responding to the dynamic healthcare environment at a fully Accredited Integrated Network Cancer Program, providing a comprehensive array of support services.

  • We prioritize clinical research and have made significant investments to enhance our services, which encompass both benign and malignant hematology, stem cell transplantation, cellular therapies, and integrative medicine to ensure patient-centered care.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with a team of dedicated specialists committed to delivering outstanding care to our patients.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Must possess board certification or be board-eligible in Medical Oncology.
  • Expected to work collaboratively with colorectal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, radiation oncology, and other specialized GI professionals.
  • A strong interest in clinical research is essential, with prior experience in early-phase (Phase I) clinical trials being advantageous, though not a requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing the adult patient population aged 18 and older.
