Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary range of $147,900 - $200,100 in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City, with potential offers between $147,900 and $174,000. Salary ranges vary based on location, with Zone 2 (California, Austin, Boston, Chicago, DC, Portland, Seattle) offering $136,000 - $184,000, Zone 3 (Washington State, Denver, Miami, Philadelphia) offering $124,100 - $167,900, and Zone 4 (Florida, Remote locations) offering $118,150 - $159,850.

Job Description

In this high-impact role, you will oversee a team of Managers and Senior Managers, supporting the delivery of exceptional clinical care and driving cross-functional strategic projects and initiatives. You will sit on the Clinical Leadership Team and report to the Senior Director of Clinical Care.

Core Areas of Responsibility

  • Team Oversight and Leadership [60%]
    • Lead a distributed organization of clinicians while fostering a clinical culture that engages and retains high-performing individuals.
    • Use data to drive decision making and design Clinician and clinical leader performance and development plans.
    • Champion technology, data, and feedback-informed care in clinical practice.
    • Own all aspects of team performance, including planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending changes to methods.
    • Deliver on key performance indicators, such as utilization, clinician engagement and retention.
  • Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives [35%]
    • Lead company or division-level strategic initiatives while collaborating closely with clinical and non-clinical partners.
    • Act as a clinical thought leader by collaborating across departments to move company initiatives forward and influence stakeholders.
  • Clinical [5%]
    • Manage a small panel of clients or regular consult sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • An active license in clinical psychology (PhD or PsyD from an accredited university) or LCSW/LICSW/LMFT/LMHC/LPCC.
  • 4 or more years of experience managing a team of licensed clinicians, with 2+ years of experience managing other managers.
  • Exceptional clinical skills, including expertise in managing clinical crises, providing case consultation, navigating ethics issues, and providing great client experiences.
  • Rigorous critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate with and influence non-clinical stakeholders.
