About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant to join our team at Mia Aesthetics. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plastic surgery procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient information, including medical history and purpose of visit, through effective communication with patients
  • Prepare patients for examination by conducting preliminary physical tests, taking vital signs, and recording relevant information
  • Secure patient information and maintain confidentiality by safeguarding medical records
  • Counsel patients by transmitting physician's orders and addressing questions about surgery
  • Assist in preparing charts, pre-admission, and consent forms
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to established standards and procedures
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Medical Terminology knowledge preferred
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Laboratory Assistant Licensure through the State of Nevada's Department of Health & Human Services Division of Public and Behavioral Health (for Las Vegas applicants)
