Product Owner Role Summary

As a Senior Product Owner at Lockheed Martin, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. This role requires a strong understanding of business requirements and a passion for delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with product management, engineering, and other teams to define and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop and manage product roadmaps: Create and maintain product roadmaps, including product vision, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to guide product development and delivery.
  • Lead product development: Oversee the development of products, ensuring they meet customer needs and business requirements, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure quality and delivery: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor and report: Track and report on product performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for changes to product roadmaps and development processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of business requirements, product development processes, and project management methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Tools and technologies: Proficient in using tools and technologies such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
