ROLE SUMMARY:
As a member of the Packaging Team, you will operate packaging machinery, primarily focusing on the Sig machine.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Safely set up, adjust, and operate various packaging machines, including Elopack, Bosch, Nimco, Jones, Sig, and WIP Coordinator (Utility) driver.
2. Rotate positions, provide breaks, and operate as per the schedule requirements.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work area, complete necessary documentation, and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervision.
4. Collaborate as a team member to facilitate training and cover schedules.
5. Be prepared for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
6. Support and engage in the preventive maintenance program.
7. Adhere to food safety protocols and follow plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is mandatory.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
While not required, experience in production line manufacturing or food service and handling is advantageous.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The starting hourly rate for this full-time position is $22.50. Individual base pay may vary based on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total compensation may include other forms of remuneration. Additionally, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits starting from the first day of employment.
