Compensation:
$36.43 per hour, plus $5.95 for health and welfare benefits (union position).

Key Responsibilities as a Construction Oversight Specialist:
- Facilitates project preparation through tenant engagement, scope development, and project communication strategies.
- Assists planners and estimators with project documentation, job plans, permitting, impact notifications, and deadlines.
- Contributes to estimating and project management at various levels through the project work order process.
- Coordinates resource scheduling for project work through multi-departmental communication.
- Manages estimating data by analyzing labor/material usage and subcontractor quotes.
- Evaluates subcontractors to ensure compliance with PCSI's Master Subcontract Agreement and Small Business plan.
- Tracks and manages labor and material warranties.
- Oversees construction documentation, including red-line and as-built drawings.
- Collaborates with clients and colleagues to devise innovative solutions for maintenance and construction challenges.
- Contributes to both internal and external site initiatives.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Success:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent; some college education is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a facilities, construction, or related field is preferred.
- CFM certification is advantageous.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to read, interpret, and communicate information effectively.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be capable of walking, bending, climbing, and safely navigating construction sites.
- Preferred knowledge of RS Means and MicroStation/AutoCAD.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
- Skilled in Adobe products (Acrobat DC or Pro).
- Normal working conditions will involve both office and field settings.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities on short notice.
- Must be able to obtain a government Common Access Card (CAC).
- Familiarity with government regulations, environmental, safety, and security standards is preferred.
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screenings.
- Willingness to work in outdoor and warehouse settings.
- Availability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance, including a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation.
