Quality Inspector Job Description

SolarEdge, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in Tampa, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and inspections of in-process production and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Record and report results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Verify adherence to procedures and standards, including electronic assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Measure critical dimensions and inspect materials from suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Generate and update reports of findings and verify closure of actions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in similar positions in electronic assembly companies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer packages.
  • Able to work on shifts and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Standing required for at least 7 hours per day; occasional bending and stooping required.
  • Mental focus on continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree or college courses.
  • Certification in IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC-7011/7021, J-STD-002/003.
